You may be noticing lots of hail mixed into the storms moving through our great state. As DASON gets incoming calls about potential damage we do our best to educate people in our area to understand what may be happening. Generally speaking Hail has to be dense and large to make an impact on a home. If you see “Quarter” sized hail or larger with marble like consistency as opposed to a slushy consistency you may have a concern. Tell tale signs of damage would be debris from roof on or around your lawn or trees and shrubs with significant leaf loss on the ground and even water leaks. If you don’t have these signs it doesn’t mean you don’t have damage but it is a good indicator that you should have someone qualified take a look.
